Enea OSE Systems Increases Wireless Support with ANT Limited's Internet Browser and Email Products

San Jose, CA - February 13, 2001

Enea OSE Systems has selected ANT Limited's Fresco™ Browser and SimplEmail™ as the browser and email client of choice to integrate with the OSETM realtime operating system (RTOS) enabling highly functional, customizable browsing and messaging capabilities ideally suited for Wireless terminals.

Both the Fresco Browser and SimplEmail will run on top of OSE, enabling Enea OSE Systems' customers to offer email and Web browsing capabilities to their consumers on an OSE-based portable device. Fresco and SimplEmail employ a high-performance, highly portable and customizable architecture designed to meet the critical needs of Internet appliances and other networked products, such as set top boxes, PDAs, mobile phones and household appliances.

The ANT Fresco Browser is platform independent and standards compliant, allowing users of wireless and other devices to securely view and interact with web content created using industry standards. ANT Fresco Browser has a small memory footprint and is customizable, enabling the customers to quickly and easily design a branded interface for their Internet appliances.

The OSE RTOS is designed specifically to support communications applications, enabling the design of distributed systems with fault-tolerant capabilities. OSE's unique message-passing architecture is the foundation that enables true realtime behavior and high performance. Particularly useful in wireless applications, the OSE networking products includes a range of the latest state-of-the-art protocols and security management, multiple 32-bit CPU and DSP architecture support for ARM, PowerPC, Texas Instruments, Lucent and Motorola.
